Today I'm trying to set up the blog for everyone to see Lauren's progress. I'm not too sure how I'll get on, as she's being quite demanding today - it's very hot & humid here in Auckland and she's not really been able to sleep. She is currently asleep in her moses basket on the table on the deck with Dave, who's drinking a beer!

She is now nearly 10 weeks old and has changed a great deal in the past week. She is focusing on her hands and is nearly sucking her thumb - she's trying very hard, but not yet succeeding! She is able to hit her toys when she's lying on the playmat, or if we put them within reach of her on the ground. She held her head up really well earlier on, when she was standing on Dave's lap. Her legs are constantly on the go - she's a real kicker! Usually she's really good, but today is definitely too hot - not just for her either!


The above photo was taken on Saturday - just after Dave & I had finally got round to buying her a chair. She loves being in it, as she's feels more included with Dave & me! However, she does like to sit at an angle and no matter how many times we straighten her out, she wriggles around again!
