All these photos were taken this weekend - on Saturday Lauren went to a birthday party at One Tree Hill for her friend Izzy - who turned 4 during the week. She was one of the youngest there, but just did her own thing and was very happy just running around. Afterwards we stopped off at Dan & Lou's and James and Lauren caught up with each other!
The bottom two photos were taken at the play area at One Tree Hill - the train is on a track and Dave finally managed to get a photo of Lauren looking the right way on the third time I ran round! Still I guess it beats going to the gym! Lauren loved the see-saw, but when we moved it I was holding on to her! She also loves the slide, and is trying to work out how to climb up it herself!
Lauren has her 15 month check this week, and she's doing fine - she's tall for her age, and is still gaining weight, albeit much slower than she has been, but that's to be expected. We're teaching her to point to her nose, which she does with no problem, and Dave has taught her to stick out her bottom lip, which is cute, but I'm trying not to laugh when she does it, as I don't really want to encourage this!
Family friends, Pat & Dick Thraves, were in Auckland on Wednesday, so we caught up with them - Lauren was a little shy at first, but soon came right and chatted non-stop. She also ate constantly, although has since decided that she can't be bothered with food - I guess that's the way it goes!
