Have suddenly discovered that I'm not taking many photos of Lauren - guess I've been too busy doing other things, plus it's harder to take her photo as she wants to look at the screen on the camera, rather than have the photo taken! Anyway, here are two recent photos - the one with Dave was taken on her 2nd birthday - we went to the zoo which she really enjoyed. She's wearing one of her presents - a beautiful outfit from Betty & Peter Deal. The bottom photo is of Lauren on her new bed (my parents bought the bedding for her birthday). The bed is actually part of bunk beds, which we have now completed and she's learnt the hard way that she can no longer bounce on the bed without hitting her head! She seems to be doing OK in the bed - although is not sleeping during the day, which I'm finding hard, especially as I want to relax/rest during this time!

Lauren is changing into a real little person - she is constantly on the move and talking to herself. We have the odd tantrum, but this is basically due to frustration at not being able to properly communicate. On the whole she's very happy and smiley, and we're constantly being told that she's a real cutie when we go out. Her vocab is coming along in leaps and bounds and although it's not always easy to work out what she's going on about, we usually manage to figure out what she wants!
